Bursting at the seams

Now I am well aware that there is no way I am showing and my already confused and annoyed intestines are the culprit of my "too many McNugget" belly- but just for kicks, I blame the squish and her (this has become a full on house debate) constant growing.

It is very hard to keep it in- all you want to do is flash that fuzzy little spec to everyone you see- we decided that Mothers Day would be "the day" to tell the parents and close friends- well not everyone made it to that date..... Some slipped (thank you Danny), some we couldn't keep in, and some we just couldn't wait to see reactions from- so whenever YOU found out- trust me that it was your time and we were very happy to share the news!

Oh the Places We Go....

I suppose it goes without saying that it has been a while, though I still feel the need to open with that excuse. It is like a part of me that has to apologize, because the thought of writing is a constant buzz in the back of my mind, yet there is just never that extra hour at the end of my day to get my myriad of thoughts into a logical place and out of my overflowing head. It ain't easy being green

or a working mom... Officially completed a FULL week of work. Add in two interviews two doctor appointments and one giant hubby blow up and you have my week! The doctor went well- the surgeon showed me how to change out Cadens Mick-key button... it is not pleasant (for either of us). Imagine putting an earring into an infected ear- that is the sensation. But I managed to get it changed and we were on our way to the next doctor. At his pediatrician we got some AMAZING NEWS!- He is finally at a good point on the growth chart- after spending his first several weeks in the single digits as far as percentiles go- he made an enormous leap to the 35th percentile- the doctors (and mommy) were thrilled! His tube, as much as we didn't want it, has made such a difference. I proudly sport my "I heart a Tubie" shirt knowing that it has made a world of difference in my little trooper. Daddy doesn't think my support for "tubies" and organizations that help raise awaren...

Mommy Day 2014

At the risk of sounding like a complete ass, I will demonstrate this day with two perspectives (this also shows that I DO in fact know how the others involved see the events- I just don't get how these events were allowed to go on...) I don't really recall Mother's Day 2013. I am sure I could go back and read about it, I do recall getting flowers (EXACT same ones as the in-law << Big NO-NO) , but I know the day wasn't anything special- enough that the husband even noted this year that he knew he had been slacking. (Expectant) Mother's Day 2012- I had date day with my dad and Uncle T sent me flowers from his stint in the Marines. The response from the husband, "well you aren't a mom yet so why would I do anything for Mother's Day?
